Kearney Planters of Thamesville received the Agricultural Innovator of the Year Award at the Chatham-Kent Rural Urban Dinner.

The award was presented for The Kearney Cobra which is only one of the innovative designs developed by Kearney Planters.

The Cobra is designed to deflect chemical laden air being discharged from the vacuum system during planting. This has been proven extremely effective during testing.
